Tourist Club Area is now known by its new name Al Zahiyah which was changed recently in 2014. The area is located on the eastern side of Abu Dhabi. It is one of the downtown areas of Abu Dhabi real estate and enjoys a prime location by being centrally located along Corniche Road East and Al Falah Street.
Tourist Club Area is a popular downtown dining and entertainment hub, with many office spaces, retail, F&B and leisure amenities dotting the street. The high-end Abu Dhabi Mall offers international chain stores and a multiscreen cinema, and there are family play areas in Heritage and Electra parks. The upcoming Al Maryah Island is now connected to the Tourist Club Area by 5 bridges.
Tourist Club Area is a bustling mixed-use cosmopolitan neighbourhood and the community. The community has high-rise residential buildings and office towers, typical of most downtown offerings of Abu Dhabi’s real estate.
While many commercial towers are lining the Tourist Club Area, prominent office areas include Mina Road, Makeen Tower and Alqubaisi Building amongst others that offer office spaces catering to a range of commercial clients.
