Shekhar began his career in investment banking, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions in 2023. While studying at UC Berkeley, he worked with a real estate startup in California, where he discovered a strong interest in the property sector. Upon completing his degree at ESSEC Business School, he joined Rothschild & Co. as an off-cycle analyst, contributing to both Equity Capital Markets and M&A transactions.
In 2024, Shekhar joined Cushman & Wakefield Core, bringing with him nearly a year of investment banking experience to enhance the firm’s real estate advisory services. He offers strong financial analysis capabilities and strategic insight, supporting clients with data-driven decisions. He also contributed to the Global Occupier Services team, advising multinational clients on market entry strategies and operational integration across the region.
